Answers to common questions about Henna tinting, safety, care, and longevity.
Henna tinting typically lasts two to six weeks on skin and up to six to eight weeks on brow hairs. Longevity depends on skin type, oiliness, exposure to water or exfoliation, and aftercare. Touch-ups refresh color when it begins to fade.
Henna can be safe for many people, but natural does not guarantee no reaction. We require or recommend a patch test 24 to 48 hours before service for sensitive clients and those with allergy histories. Tell your technician about any known skin reactions.
Henna offers a temporary, non-invasive alternative to tinting and microblading, staining both skin and hair for fuller-looking brows. It cannot match microbladingās semi-permanent hair-stroke effects, but itās perfect for trial looks, softer maintenance, and defined, customizable color.
Keep treated brows dry for the first 24 hours, avoid oil-based products and heavy sweating, and gently cleanse without exfoliating. Use a clear brow gel to maintain shape and schedule touch-ups every few weeks to preserve color.
Henna can appear darker immediately after application but typically softens within 24 to 48 hours as it oxidizes and the top layer sheds. We customize shade and perform a preview so results wonāt be uncomfortably dark, and you can request lighter tones.
A patch test is recommended, especially for first-time clients or those with sensitivities. We apply a small amount behind the ear or on the inner arm and observe for reactions over 24 to 48 hours. This helps ensure safe, irritation-free Henna application.
